Our Nancy’s Boy Congressman Gets His Marching Orders

From The LA Times:

“In an effort to coordinate with the White House, congressional leaders are urging Democrats to focus less on bragging about what they have done—a landmark healthcare law, a sweeping overhaul of Wall Street regulation and other far-reaching policy changes, and more on efforts to fix the economy and on the perils of Republican control of Congress.”

Well gee, Phil Hare and his Democrat cronies have controlled Congress since January ’07 so what did they ever do to “fix the economy”?

The NRCC is unimpressed and unconvinced:

“Democrats plan to spend the next month asking voters to overlook their job-killing policies by distracting them with dishonest attacks on Republican candidates.”

Hmmm, all this seems vaguely familiar. Our specially selected Nancy Pelosi rubberstamp Congressman Phil Hare isn’t touting his voting record supporting every taxpayer bailout that Obama/Pelosi sent down the pike, and he’s not crowing about how wonderful Obamacare is, so what is he doing, when he is doing anything at all in the district?

Oh yeah—“distracting [voters] with dishonest attacks on Republican candidates”.

Here’s a radical idea—make The Philster defend his votes for Obamacare—after all he said we’d love it when we knew what was in it. Hey Philster—please explain.

  1. Well I don’t get what you mean either—will Hare try to tie Schilling to the GOP establishment?

    Good luck with that.

But please, clarify your “what does it mean” comment.

  2. This is an e-mail I just received form Mark R. Mark heads the group that along with the veterans have put up nearly 25 billboards in the 17th dist. This is just more proof that the Constitution is not to be respected if you’re in the Hare campaign.

    Greg,

Apparently ‘freedom of the press’ applies only to venues approved by liberals.

I would have thought that Lamar, being the size that you are, would have more clout than to let someone change the terms of their contract with you.

Mark, I just received a phone call and this email. We have a landowner issue with one of the billboard locations per below. I would like to offer you some location options. I will send you a map showing this 41st St location as well as your other locations and then I’ll include some options for you to consider.

    Hi Guys!

We just posted one recently at 3700 41st St. , Moline (Kulig Acctg.). They have asked that it be removed. They didn’t previously have a political restriction, but are not happy with this ad being on their property. One of the partners at the firm is good friends with Phil Hare.

Told Mr. Kulig (landowner) that we’d have it down some time tomorrow.

FYI – Greg said he’d call customer and talk to him regarding a new location. Sorry for the inconvenience!

    Thanks!

  3. It might be a better winning strategy for Hare, to try to convince people Schilling is the Democrat incumbent that has sold them out to special interests.

But then, by not talking about the crap they’ve done to us, and instead claiming Schilling is Bush … maybe they are trying to do just that, except for the party label. But I think most know it is the Democrats that have been in control since 2007, and they have only themselves to blame for all this mess.

Since Democrats started driving this car, they’ve driven off the road, across a ditch, and are heading over the cliff … voting R for “reverse” would be a good start at saving us. 🙂

That President Toonces is one cool cat, despite having no executive/driving experience.

  4. Yeah … the landowner should stipulate before he sets his rates that his location is restricted to neutral or Hare positive billboards. That would influence his rate.

It would seem at least he would then compensate for the cost of posting the billboard somewhere else. Or better yet, say that you entered an agreement and expect it to be fulfilled. Who is agreeing to take it down?

Anyway … I don’t know details … but they seem to have no grounds, though I am (thankfully) not a lawyer.

  5. When the Veterans put up the billboard on 19th street, the adertiser was well aware of the sign. However, he is a business man and not a hack. The vets understood that if we put anything offensive up it would be taken down.

I can only say I’m sure that the landowner is a jerk. He leases the sign to the company so technically it’s their porperty. Hare and his friends are surly not concerned about free speach.

  6. Phil Hare will be exposed for the Fraud he is.

The people are not fooled anymore.

We will not perish without a fight

  7. This reminds me of either the Zinga v. Evans or Zinga v. Hare race when Zinga’s yard signs were defaced.

When the Dems were called out on this, they said they had nothing to do with it, it was just the work of garden-variety vandals.

Amazingly, the “vandals” only defaced Zinga signs, and left the bazillion Democrat yard signs untouched.

    Weird, huh?

  8. The Saul Alinsky playbook all these “socialists” seem to use is full of dirty tricks. It is how they manage to get a minority of far left nuts into positions of power. It amazes me .. the kind of corrupt and incompetent liars we end up with, running our country.

The internet and the critical juncture for our country will hopefully turn the tide, and we will elect competent honest men to replace the entitlement gang.

  9. I just drove by “The Billboard”. It is now a motivational poster with Mr. Rodgers promoting “It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood”

    No joke…what a HOOT

The people will not be fooled any longer. Phil Hare is out of touch and will be voted out.
