For the 46% of us who didn’t vote for Obama, he is just another POTUS who, because of his inexperience and arrogance, we hope will not screw things up even more than they are now.
Of those who did vote for Obama, there is a portion who believe being POTUS is too small for a magnificent creature like The One. For them, he is not a mere human, he is a cult figure and a hero of mythic and legendary proportions.
So it is not surprising that people who are this unhinged would use art (and ebay) as a way to explain and define their cult hero. One of their common themes is what is best described as “Naked Obama And Unicorns.”
The link shows three examples of these artistic renditions, which are best described as vividly colored, crude folk art. One depicts a nude Obama getting a back rub from a unicorn; another shows a nude Obama riding a unicorn and whipping a nude Rush Limbaugh with his own golden microphone—I am not making this up.
Of course, others have suggestions for further naked Obama/unicorn art; my favorite being a nude Obama riding a unicorn jousting with a nude Palin riding a moose—I’d pay good money for that one!
My personal suggestion would be a nude Obama riding a unicorn carrying a whip and driving the moneychangers out of the temple and into the federal Treasury.
Even in art, I demand some connection with reality.

Why in God’s name would you go looking for these crazy things? Do you not have enough to do? As if he participates in or approves of these things. I am an Obama backer, but have maintained my sanity. I would suggest you get a real job that is a more productive use of your time.

QC Examiner, In your Unicorn blog, you referred to Obama supporters as “unhinged”. That is why I assured you I had maintained my sanity. I am looking for some postive suggestions from Republicans for the difficult times we are experiencing, but they are not forthcoming. All they can seem to muster is criticism of Obama. John Boehner said yesterday that the Republicans will be “rolling out” their plan in the “coming months”. And how many more homes and jobs will be lost in the coming months if nothing is done?
Oh sorry Pilar, I thought I made it clear that it was just the Naked-Obama-Unicorn artists that I found kinda creepy and unhinged—not Obama supporters in general.
Sorry, but I don’t buy Obama’s fearmongering—this “crises” didn’t happen overnight and it won’t be fixed overnight by passing this ineffective stimulus, which is what Pelosi created.
Compare and contrast:
FDR: We have nothing to fear but fear itself.
BHO: We have nothing but fear.
I don’t trust the way Obama is trying to stampede this 800 page bill through without vetting and debate—it’s a TRILLION FREAKIN’ DOLLARS we don’t have and the way Obama is handling this reminds me of the rush to vote on the Iraq War, The Patriot Act, and the idiotic TARP business—I thought Obama was all about change, not just doing the same old crap.
I wonder if BO’s wife knows about his allure to unicorns and Rush Limbaugh. I always wondered if that constant fighting between Rush and Obama was some kind of coverup for a much deeper and personal relationship! 😆
Red Flags should be popping up everywhere as much fear mongering as Obama is using to push this to bill to pass so quickly. Either Obama vetted this bill like he did his cabinet selections or he just wants people to ignore the fatty pork in the bill. Or maybe both.
