Quote Of The Day

From Sister Toldjah, reacting to this story on Hillary Clinton, who has been hoist by her own PC/race card petard:

…I don’t feel one ounce of sympathy for the false implied allegations against her, not after what she and her party have done over the years to advance the myth that conservatives are nothing but cold-hearted racists, a vicious tactic liberal Democrats like Hillary Clinton have used routinely for shameless political purposes.

Ah yes, schadenfreude.

As Sister says, we knew the Democrats would be playing the gender/race/victim/vote-rigging card, but we figured they’d save it for the general election. Instead, they’re using it against each other!

What a hoot!

  1. qce, I wanted to make you aware of this – as it is extremely funny. TID, on his blog, just posted a great thought on tax cuts- I believe that he is (or will soon) start understanding reality. He was trying to prove that tax cuts do not work, but in all his intelligence, proved just the opposite!

His post was how Clintons tax-increases actually promoted more employment, and the Bush tax-cuts actually promoted less employment.

Unfortunately for him, his thinking is quite clouded by his politics. I responded that the growth in jobs during the Clinton Admin. was due to the boom in the tech-markets and the overall economy at the time (which increased taxes could not even slow down) and that as his chart started showing less employment, this was brought about by the tech-bubble bursting in 2000 and a little thing that we call 9-11, which I reminded him happened in 2001.

His employment chart started going up in late 2003, as the Bush tax cuts had time to work through the business sector.

I asked him to consider if he had owned a business, if it was at a break-even, he would have to limit expenses (or lose money) and employement would be tight. If that same business had a $200,000 profit, it could afford to hire more employees.

Of course, a pretty simple concept I believe.

I asked him to explain, beyond his cute little chart, how spending more money on taxes would actually allow a business-owner to hire more employees.

I write this simply to make people aware of how ignorant this man really is – and to, hopefully, insure that he does not censor my comment, an act that he is very good at doing any time he is made to look dumb. Thanks!

  2. hee!hee! I never read anything by Paul Krugman or any blog or article that quotes him favorably.

He may have been an economist at one time, but now he is just another left-wing polemist. Krugman has predicted “recession” every year Bush has been POTUS—-maybe, like a stopped clock that is right twice a day, he’ll be right this year! 😀

But Josh, when you talk about TID you sound like you’re channeling Robbie! Maybe you two should get together and start “I Hate Dope” blog!

  3. To that end, Robbie, I apologize for anything that I might have said that could have offended you or been seen as hostile.

Anyone who has issues with Dope, is someone who I need to be more friendly with.

Goodnes, people have opinions on all sorts of isues, but Dope is offensive and obnoxious to anyone that does not agree with his extremely limited (and hate-filled) view of the world.

And as this issue points out, the man is so blinded by his hatred, he can be downright ignorant on quite simple issues.
