2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 55,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 20 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. Thanks! Even I was surprised by the page views and my post #487, considering how half-hearted and half-@ssed my production was this year. 🙂 What I hated most was the fact that 3 out of 5 top commenters were people I despised—you and Scoundrel excepted.

  2. I haven’t done an official count, but I suspect you were the SUBJECT of more comments than the number of comments you posted. 😀

  3. LOL! Yeah. That’s probably true. It’s always nice to know people like talking about ya, haha!

FYI, I’m beginning to understand how you feel about blogging. I started this WordPress months ago and I still haven’t written my first post. It’s so much easier to use Twitter. Facebook as well, except when all of Cheri’s buddies report me for something I’ve said (no profanity) and I find myself banned from posting anything on fb for a month. Ugh…

  4. well yeah, still can’t figure out twitter and get twitter to do what i want it to do, but it suits my limited time/attention span requirements.
