“President Obama will take a hands-on approach to the United States airstrikes in Syria against the Islamic State and will personally sign off on bombing targets in the country…”

  1. It’s good to see President Obama take the reigns. The last time President Obama took contro of the battle Osama bin Laden was removed from power. One can only hope President Obama is as effective fighting ISIL as he was ii tracking down Osama bin Laden!

  2. So true—you “can only hope” prevails over experience as to how Obama usually handles foreign policy and military endeavors.

  3. Obama will defeat ISIL just like he defeated Osama bin Laden.

Being a Muslim helps President Obama to understand and defeat these terrorists.

This is a war that will be quick decisive l and end by November 1, 2014

This timeframe will make it easy for Americans not worry when they go to the polling places and do their civic duty.

    All-Americans rally around Pres. Obama!!

  4. Obama’s problem is that he has no credibility because he lies all the time.

How long do you suppose his “promise” of no boots on the ground goes the way of “if you like your plan, you can keep your plan. period”?

My guess is sometime after November 4, 2014.

  5. Leader Obama launches a massive counter strike against ISIL right in the middle of Monday Night Football featuring DA BEARS!. The tall-rangy Muslim from Chicago is said to have caught the enemy napping. Initial reports reveal President Barack Obama “struck” ISIL at kickoff. Well done Mr. President!!!

It’s good to be an American.
    Slow clap.

  6. By all accounts—including Obama’s, this is going to be a long war so your little happy dance in the endzone is premature, to say the least.

I’m hoping to be surprised, but Obama’s Syrian War could be as successful as his Obamacare rollout.

  7. Thank God President Barack Obama ordered American airstrikes against the Khorasan Group in Syria because the shadowy al-Qaida offshoot was close to launching attacks on the United States or its allies!

While I am not suggesting Obama should pull a Bush and declare victory too early, I am suggesting Barack’s inaction should never again be taken as a sign of weakness by the Right. Say what you want QCe, but on matters of military might President Obama flies with the hawks!

  8. Maybe the best part of this is that by taking up the Bush Doctrine, Obama has neutered the the press, Democrats, far left and anti-war activists. Not a peep out of any of them and they will not get in his way in executing his War On Syria like they did with Bush in Iraq.

This is sort of a Nixon To China thing for leftwingers.
