As Long As I Don’t Have To Work For It, I’ll Take It

Gerry Bustos:

“I never advocated for this job, I never intended to run for Sheriff, I never wanted to mount a campaign, but because of the circumstances that we were dealt, I’m very excited to lead the Sheriff’s office into the future.”

  1. Disgruntled partisans can blame Republican Party Boss Bill Bloom for not fielding a qualified candidate against his Democrat pal Jeff Boyd. With enemies like Bloom who needs friends?

In a 24 hour period…Albracht sticks a knife in WOZ’s back, Boss Bloom’s inaction turns into Congresswoman Busto’s husband becoming our newly minted Democrat RI County Sheriff.

From the Democrat Parties point of view…Priceless.

  2. Hey, at least this most recent Bustos has actually DONE SOMETHING for the people in his career!

Luckily for him, he won’t even have to start going by a different name professionally now that he’s running for office, since he already has a Hispanic last name. 😉

  3. “I never advocated for this job, I never intended to run for Sheriff” — Nepotism wins again in RICO politics. For he could not have been put on the ballot without his permission and recanted on his desire to not hold the office. Either you want the job or you don’t want the job. Sounds like he plays with the truth similar to his wifey.
