Rock Island County State’s Attorney John McGehee’s excuse for why he had not sent a formal request to the Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, to investigate alleged corruption by Rock Island County officials, 10 days after he said he would:
“I’ve just been so busy with criminal and other matters.”
Because for a Democrat State’s Attorney, “alleged” corruption by other Democrats doesn’t reach the level of “criminal”.
Just as it won’t reach the level of “criminal” if and when it finally reaches Democrat Lisa Madigan’s office.
Sometime after 2016—if then.
