Where Are All Those Shadowy Anonymous Sources When You Need Them?

QCOnline regarding RICO SA John McGehee asking IL AG Lisa Madigan to handle a RICO corruption case:

“[McGehee] told reporters he could not release any details of what state police found that led him to make the decision to move the case to [AG Lisa] Madigan’s office.”

The fact that this would be a hot potato for the Democrat/union controlled SA office in a county controlled by Democrat/unions probably had some bearing on his decision.

Besides, we have seen this movie before when it came out that SA Jeff Terronez was being investigated by the state police in September ’10 and he was forced to resign in April ’11 by Lisa Madigan when she swooped down to the QCs to do damage control for the Democrat Party—NO SEX WAS INVOLVED!!!

My guess is that Madigan won’t rule on this particular bit of RICO corruption until well after the election—of 2016.

But still, taxpayers are forced to pay salaries for these corruptocrats and should be able to see what they have bought.

Remember, caveat emptor!

  1. Have you noticed the constant connection to East Moline Correctional Center’s name keeps coming up connected to people involved with many of the current local scandals?

  2. States Attorney McGehee did the right thing and is showing bipartisan knowledge.

If he were to say there were no wrong doing then we would have Republican Party Boss Bill bloom saying that there was a local Democratic coverup.

    Good play SA McGehee

McGhee is playing CYA games. That way, whatever the final result. he can say he has washed his hands from any bloodletting. He did some legal work for me several years back. I wasn’t impressed then. I am not impressed now.
