Money Isn’t Everything II

More fun with ISBE numbers from QCOnline:

End of second quarter totals:

Smiddy $105K vs. $18K Woz

Not surprisingly most of Smiddy’s $$$$ came from Big Labor.

Jacobs $173K vs. Anderson $63K

In a low blow to Anderson, a firefighter’s organization gave Jacobs $10K.

And wouldn’t you know it, Pat “The Weasel” Verschoore, who has absolute NO competition comes out the best with $230K.

  1. Rep Smiddy has improved his position. While money can’t elect Independent Rep Smiddy, it does make Mike more electable. WOZ appears to be falling apart. While Anderson is a nice fella, it appears he’s “being milked” by the Schillings. Does anyone else find it peculiar that Neil Anderson is shoveling special interest money to Christy Schilling for so called RENT?

  2. What are you implying? I knew Anderson was renting space from Schilling, but so what?

And what the hell is “special interest money”?

  3. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see special interest groups are passing campaign cash to Neil Anderson who in turn funnels the ill-gotten gain to Schilling under the guise of RENT? If nothing else, I think this is very poor form of Anderson’s part. Don’t you, or do you think Bobby should rent from a third party and not himself?

  4. I’m not a rocket scientist, but where’s the proof that “special interest groups are passing campaign cash to Neil Anderson who in turn funnels the ill-gotten gain to Schilling under the guise of RENT”?

Unless you have rock solid information this charge is true, I will assume you’re just making stuff up.

  5. It’s not rocket science QC. This information is public record and any fool can follow along. All you have to do is review Anderson’s campaign report and you’ll notice checks from special interest groups coming into his campaign, and then Neil writes Christy Schilling a RENT CHECK. So QCE, do you think Bobby should rent from an independent third party, or from himself? I for one see Anderson funneling state PAC money to Bobby as a violation of Federal Campaign law and an ethical conundrum for both these struggling Republican politicians!

  6. If what you say is true, I hope you’ll do the right thing and file charges pronto with the FEC.
