Kill Illinois! Faster! Faster!

In a stunning ruling on Thursday (July 3), the Illinois Supreme Court decided that even free health care was part of the “pension” provisions promised to public employee retirees by corrupt politicians.

Thanks to Obamacare and other factors, health care costs are, and will continue to skyrocket, and the Illinois taxpayers will be forced to take it in the shorts, likely by higher and more taxes and fewer services.

If you are living in Illinois and not getting a taxpayer funded check, I suggest you take my governor’s advice:

  1. Illinois is evidence of how unions and Democrats will gleefully destroy a state and its future, by doling out golden entitlements for their own. Perhaps this will help usher in Bruce Rauner, and some hope of public union reform.

We may be closest to the drain, but the whole country seems to be in the same cesspool. The federal government is $100 Trillion in debt if unfunded liabilities are counted. We can print money, but in time that makes interest rates soar, and currencies burn.

But that seems to be the “communist” plan … destroy and start over. Except they don’t really know how to do anything except divide and conquer and burn … as we see with Obamacare or Detroit or public union pensions.

Without proving these public union deals involved illegal payback schemes, I don’t see how they can take away anything from the contracts. It SHOULD be illegal to have such open ended contracts, that enslave future taxpayers, and maybe it is. But in Illinois there is no stomach for fighting the Chicago Machine.

Next they’ll raise taxes and chase away more industrious people … then raise taxes more till everyone is unemployed or in foreclosure … then the state can start auctioning off foreclosed properties to the Chinese or billionaire future’s traders that have already fled to Indonesia or points unknown.

I don’t foresee any point where the “syndicates” will back off, or admit failure. Agriculture might sustain us for awhile, but Chicago alone can just keep voting for more confiscation. Illinois is rich in coal … but the commies killed that off already. But in their new world order, I bet coal will be just fine. πŸ™‚

My escape plan is to stay right here and grow my own food, till they confiscate the last acre. Then maybe I’ll go out in a blaze of glory … like Butch Cassidy and Sundance … heh.

  2. If past is prologue, you’ll be going out in a hail of taxes, lawsuits and regulations rather than a hail of bullets like Butch and Sundance.

I have a farm/ranch (not in Illinois or Texas) that my cousins run for me and from reading the county Farm Bureau and news reports, the EPA will soon been running farms and ranches nationwide by regulating every stream, puddle and ditch in the country. Also probably other bad stuff I don’t know about.

My suggestion is that if you are not growing barley and brewing your own beer—now is the time to start! πŸ˜€

  3. lol … that stream thing came up long ago, but they are a step closer now, for sure. They were going to require cattle be fenced out of all streams, but that hasn’t happened, though it makes more sense than the CO2 baloney. The Western states will be subdued first, since water is more scare there. In CA they already save the snails and let the farms go bankrupt.

Or maybe it’s all just about generating more bribe money for politicians … we have to pay more now to keep our rights. No pay and they show up and find some endangered crustacean or Indian burial ground. πŸ™‚

I was going to put in a large pond, but IL has a new $4500 fee if it drains over 50 acres, and they would have required about $15,000 in engineering costs before I could start. Then they probably would look over my should every other week, looking for a bribe. So that is on hold … even though it would have held in some 460 acres of silt and associated fertilizers that now find their way into the gulf.

I did buy a bunch of equipment to make beer … but haven’t put it to use yet. Part of my “prepper” supplies. ha … Just a few acres of corn or beans here, but I could probably buy other grains cheap.

Glad you have a farm to return to, in case Queen Hillary decides to cede Texas back to Mexico, or they import half of Mexico into Texas, and turn it Democrat.
