Stockholm Syndrome

From an email by the chairman of the RICO GOP addressed to Dear Conservative Friends:

“I have attached a Power Point presentation about why RICO voters should approve the 1 cent sales tax for RICO school maintenance, which will be on the March ballot…As [promoters of the tax increase] approach other RICO organizations, they would like to be able to say the RICO Republicans support this 1 cent tax increase.”

I’ll bet they would! Conservatives For Higher Taxes! What could possibly go wrong? How about Conservatives For More Regulations? Conservatives For Open Borders? Conservatives For Abortion Clinics In Every Town? Why not just rename the RICO GOP to the RICO Democrat Auxiliary?

As for the merits of a sales tax increase for school “maintenance”, what happened to all that money RICO was supposed to spend on maintenance for the Courthouse? How’d that work out? Where did THAT money go—some Politburo slush fund for family, friends and cronies? That money has never been accounted for or anyone held responsible for the decay and decline of the Courthouse, even though Democrats controlled the building and the purse.

It seems to me that after decades of Democrat control of all levers of power the RICO GOP has finally succumbed to Stockholm Syndrome from which there is no return.

Sad, but probably inevitable.

  1. Perhaps it is some psychic alignment that gave Rock Island County and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act the same initials.

RICO problems can only be solved by RICO. πŸ™‚

  2. How the hell would I know?

Ask the RICO GOP at 3097646262—I’m sure they’ll put you in touch with Albracht.

  3. How come “Not Bill” is allowed to post? I thought that “sock puppetry” and “ridiculous comments” weren’t allowed?

    Double standard? I think so…..

    Reyes in a landslide

Ed. Note: Exhibit C why adult supervision is needed at Bobby HQ

  4. I live in Knox County…can’t you see that by my IP. I have nothing to do with the Schilling campaign either. So your Exhibit C is wrong

Just love pointing you hypocrisy. πŸ™‚

Ed. Note: Yeah, OK, sure, whatever, just stop lying—no wonder you fit in so well with the Schilling organization. πŸ˜€

  5. Wait…didn’t RICO GOP go all out against this a few years ago? Wonder where Bobby’s at on this

  6. This is obviously an attempt by the RICO GOP to “reach across the aisle” in the interest of bipartisanship by adopting Democrat ideology, which Schilling has publically endorsed many times.

If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em, right? πŸ™‚
