  1. ha … if that chicken is pooping in my yard, do I get to cook him?

A Facebook friend was just talking of the problem with all the strays and the humane society putting them down, while breeders crank out the purebreds. I don’t mind a little local government intervention for things like licensing pets, at least on a local level for dealing with problems. Unfortunately we are also breeding a nation of irresponsible people.

Quincy still allows chickens in the back yard, afaik. My sister said the folks that bought her house there have chickens now. A rooster crowing all day would test a Libertarian’s resolve. 🙂

  2. Talk about testing a libertarians resolve, we have been looking for houses for years and last month we saw one that looked interesting out in the Texas countryside.

The house was kinda meh, but when we looked into it further, it seems that one of the requirements for purchase was that cattle would be allowed to graze on the property.

Obviously a deal killer—what sane person would want cow poop around your house to say nothing of those skeezy perv cows peering into your windows? 😀
