The Fever Breaks

Swedish professor Stefan Svallfors on his nomination of Edward Snowden for the Nobel Peace Prize:

“The decision to award the 2013 prize to Edward Snowden would – in addition to being well justified in itself – also help to save the Nobel Peace Prize from the disrepute that incurred by the hasty and ill-conceived decision to award U.S. President Barack Obama 2009 award.”

  1. Is there any known antibiotic for this disease – I am getting a permanent headache – is that one of the symptoms. Maybe I could just sue Snowden, Obama, and Putin for my misery. I’d consider suing the media but they would claim absence of malice and post any required retractions in the back pages near lost and found sections.

  2. jw, considering such luminaries as Yassir Arafat, Henry Kissinger, and Al Gore have won in the past there is a compelling argument to just give the next one to Basir Al Assad and Vlad Putin and be done with them once and for all!

S, I think our buddy Putin gave Obama an out so far we won’t be able to see Russia (or Syria) from Alaska—or any other part of the USA! 😀
