Cognitive Dissonance Of The Day

From the Democrat-Dispatch quoting Rep. Cheri Bustos (D-Durbin) at a forum she held yesterday for local leaders:

“Rep. Bustos said the 17th District has many economic strengths but also is the second poorest congressional district in Illinois.”

Failing to capitalize on “economic strengths” resulting in extreme poverty couldn’t possibly be caused by almost uninterrupted far left, anti-business, anti-capitalist, liberal representation for nearly 30 years, now could it?
