When Donkeys Fly

At a union rally last Saturday in Davenport, where The Faithful swore they would fight to the death for their right to screw taxpayers as hard as they want for as long as they want, an East Moline UAW member was there in support of his brothers and sisters in Iowa and to do some fearmongering for unionists who live in Illinois:

“The way it is going, the issue [of putting the brakes on union greed] is probably going to come up in Illinois next . . . I wouldn’t be surprised at all.”

Well I would and so would just about everyone else in the state.

We all know Illinois has the best politicians taxpayer funded union dues can buy, and our politicians STAY bought.

In order for Illinois to even consider cutting back on union largess, the entire state would have to flip to the GOP, and that could only happen if Chicago slid off into Lake Michigan.

These union people feel they are really missing out if they can’t be among the downtrodden—which they most certainly ARE NOT in our wonderful State O’ Illinois.

  1. Fun Fax from Jim Nowlan:

“The state of Illinois public employee union contracts, which cover most state workers, will have seen a 34 percent increase in compensation between 2004 and 2012, when the present contracts expire . . .”

I hope you all got your 34% increase over the last 8 years so you’ll have no problem covering Big Labor’s 34% increase that our bought Democrats gave their paymasters.

A former SEIU poobah was (supposedly) caught on tape calling for destabilization of the country by destroying JP Morgan, the stock market and Wall Street “thus creating the conditions necessary for a redistribution of wealth and a change of government.”

    Cloward-Pivens lives!!111!!!

As with all these “caught on tape” things, let the buyer beware, but ain’t it a hoot that only 4 months ago, our congressman was a tool of these anti-American unions?
