From a Hare-Dispatch article about a college student’s two week trip to see Nazi concentration/death camps:
“Poland was, by far, the most different from the other countries that we visited,” said Ms. Pauley, an award-winning figure skater who has turned her sights to the coaching end of the sport. “It was also the location of Auschwitz/Birkenau. It’s where we saw the worst conditions and the most brutal methods of extermintion and torture.”
Have they fired all the editors at the Hare-Dispatch?
If the H-D thought the figure skating angle was so important, they should have added it to the first sentence of the article:
“Her trademark bright eyes and bubbly smile are lost in pained expression.”
If People Magazine wrote about Nazi death camps, this is what it would look like.
