Let’s Start A Pool On When Obama Will Dump Biden

Joe Biden was chosen by Obama for VP in hopes of shoring up his severe lack of foreign policy experience but unfortunately in the process also destroyed the fantasy that he was the “change” candidate.

Biden is well known for making off-the-wall, obnoxious comments, but then Obama knew that when he chose him, unless Biden had not been properly vetted by the campaign.

And so it begins—the diarrhea of the mouth that Obama will have to clean up, unless his press pals can cover it up.

At a campaign stop in Florida, Biden promised that if elected, the Obama administration would bring criminal charges against the Bush administration “[i]f there has been a basis upon which you can pursue someone for a criminal violation, they will be pursued…[n]ot out of vengeance, not out of retribution. Out of the need to preserve the notion that no one, no attorney general, no president—no one is above the law.”

Biden is obviously tossing red meat to the frothing BDS sufferers who will vote for Obama/Biden en masse, but why, aside from partisan fervor would Biden say something so idiotic?

Obama/Biden going through Bush administration data with “a fine-toothed comb” would be unprecedented in our 200+ years as a nation. Not only would it completely alienate and anger those who believed Obama’s b.s. about change and bipartisanship, it would open the door for the next GOP POTUS to go through Obama’s administration data with “a fine-toothed comb”. Or maybe even Clinton’s, if the statute of limitations hasn’t run out. There was some illegal actions going on with Clinton, otherwise Sandy Berger wouldn’t have risked the consequences of destroying classified documents on his behalf.

Even though Obama told a Philadelphia newspaper that he would investigate Bush to see if “genuine crimes” had been committed, my guess is that Obama will not spend the first part of his term by further dividing the country by inflaming partisan passions by going on a witch-hunt to persecute and prosecute Bush and his administration officials. Obama, while not experienced in executive matters—or ANY matters except running for POTUS, is not stupid—he is a canny and talented politician and ultimately won’t follow through with this bit of hysterical hyperpartisanship, which would just turn around and bite him in the keester when the next GOP president is elected.

This is just the beginning of the Biden embarrassments—-Obama better hope his worshipful press can control Biden’s mouth, because Biden obviously can’t.

  1. At least Biden’s kids didn’t get pregnant outside of wedlock. Nor has Biden ever enetered a beauty pageant and paraded around wearing nothing but a skimpy swim suit. Have you seen Paline’s photos? If I send them will you post them?

    Comment by Truck911 | September 5, 2008

  2. Yea, these guys are going to ‘cut the taxes of 95% of taxpayers’ – right!

Biden (what a nut case) now wants to spend MILLION searching records and TENS of MILLIONS putting them on trial.

    ““““““““““““

Is there anything more frightening that the thought of the power in Washington being,

    Obama – Most Liberal Senator
Biden – 4th Most Liberal Senator
Reid – Who cares what his rank is – he’s just a fool.
    Pelosi – Ditto.

There are many reasons to vote for McCain/ Pelosi, but the list above should make the election an absolute landslide!

    “““““““`

The only more frightening thing – Truck911’s comments.

Only a brain dead Democrat partisan would buy that tricked up photo.

I expect many more smears on Palin from your side—that’s all you’ve got, and that’s what you do.

  6. Back to the post…

Biden was the dumbest pick ever. What was Obama thinking?
He is running on CHANGE and picks Biden?
Biden is about nothing remotely close to CHANGE.

Please, can any of the libs try to make sense of this. Please explain this to me.

His ‘National Security/ Foreign Policy’ experience is of misjudgements and failure.

He is a loose cannon and WILL (as this rampage shows) say many stupid things in the 60+ days remaining.

By his very being, his look, reminds everyone that Obama has no experience. Biden looks like the POTUS candidate, and Obama looks like his aide.

Will Obama dump Biden – no, that can’t be done, however, the VP pick is the first telling decision of a potential POTUS – and the Biden pick shows that Obama has serious decision-making problems.

Please, any lib, please explain this to me.

Sorry, call me a homophobe or whatever other scurrilous name you wish –> But I Have Absolutely NO Desire to see pictures of Biden – Obama or McCain in a bikini or speedo or their birthday-suits. I will pass, thank you very much!

The Biden powered by Bush Deranged attack is exactly what I have come to expect from both political parties. It has gotten to the point the two sides are more about winning than serving the country.

  8. Truck hit the nail on the proverbial head. Palin dancing around the stage in a beatuty contest is not Presidential. What will our allies think of this woman’s wild antics? That Palin refuses to care for her own down syndrom child is most troubling. Doesn’t this supposed mother think she should help take care of her 17 year old daughter and her pending child? What type of family values are these Mz. Palin?

    Comment by RagingScottDanley | September 5, 2008

  9. Danley, how do you “take care” of a 17 year old? Bristol Palin is marrying her baby daddy. Do you advocate meddling by the mother-in-law (i.e. “take care”), the next VPOTUS? If so, you obviously have no mother-in-law. :-D

It’s also obvious you have no children, it’s also obvious you are a sexist pig. Why don’t you offer your sexist opinions to the blogs of the local male leftwingers, who would shout hosannah to your troglodyte opinions?

But do you mean the John Edwards’ kind of “family values”? Edwards’ wife is seriously ill, he has two young children at home, has a mistress on the side and an illegitmate child yet fed his ego and ambition by running for POTUS. Is that what “family values” means to you—screw yer brains out with no consequences?

I don’t remember you denouncing Edwards for his “wild” behavior, but I’m sure that’s just an oversight on your part. :-D

  10. The hypocrisy of you right wing fools gives great amusement to THE OBAMACLE. You jokers all cheered when Ken Starr spent 100 million dollars of taxpayer money investigating Clinton.

Comment by the obamacle | September 5, 2008

  11. O, don’t count me among those who “cheered” at the Clinton witch-hunt, but it was the expected payback since the Democrat controlled Congress used “special prosecutors” to harass GOP POTUS.

It’s interesting that the Dem Congress allowed the Nixon-era “special prosecutor law” to expire, but only after one of their own got his cojones caught in the wringer.

Ken Starr, the Plame investigation, Irangate, etc. etc. were all just partisan political witch hunts paid for by taxpayers.

Try to remember what big fish was ever caught in all these “gates”?

It’s all just taxpayer funded political theatre—good riddance to bad rubbish!

  13. In reality Tiger, how long before it’s out in the open that many people feel that Governor Palin should focus on her new baby and preganant 17 year old daughter and run for vice president later?
I don’t have a problem with it. Her husband worked hard and they can afford for him to be a stay at home dad. More power to him. But I’m not everybody. I also wonder what Tiger’s view would be if Palin was a Democrat.

  14. POOR JOE BIDEN – POOR NOBAMA…

Neither one have any accomplishments …

Biden a political hack for 30+ years and NObama – a “Community Advisor”!

Even worse than Kerry – Edwards ..

    Two losers …

  15. It’s a sad day when liberals expose their inner hypocrisy by demanding conservative women quit their jobs when they have children, not have pre-marital sex and get the hell back in the kitchen and bedroom. I assume the long-suffering Mrs. O doesn’t work for money, but instead devotes all her time to the care of your daughters.

Were you one of those (non-existent) caring, compassionate liberals who demanded John Edwards stop running for POTUS so he could take care of his cancer-stricken wife, his two young children and his mistress’ illegitimate baby? If so, forgive me, but I don’t remember your passionate denunciation of Edwards. Please send me a link to your SPEAK.

O, it’s only liberals who have this troglodyte view—I have not seen one conservative who demands that Mrs. Palin quit her job to take care of her children.

Who thinks Palin needs to “take care” of her 17 year old daughter, who will soon marry the baby daddy, except leftwing hypocrites? It’s true, liberals would have aborted the “retarded” Palin son and forced her 17 year old daughter to abort her inconvenient pregnancy, but that is not how libertarians/conservatives think—that is how liberals think.

Mrs. Obama didn’t quit her job to take care of her two young daughters and she went on the campaign trail while sacrificing her daughter’s well- being in order to promote her husband’s political ambitions—why aren’t caring compassionate Democrats like yourself demanding Mrs. Obama get off the campaign trail and quit her job so she can take care of her children?

    Comment by qcexaminer | September 5, 2008

  16. Did you actually read what I wrote Mrs. QCE? And just to play devils advocate here Baby, Michelle Obama doesn’t have a pregnant 17 year old daughter or a 5 month old baby to care for. And she isn’t running for Vice President. But if she was, I would support her decision to run. The Phylis Schafleys, I think that’s how she spells it, are whispering about Governor Palin as we speak.

Comment by the obamacle | September 5, 2008

  17. Whatever, I find it hard to believe you are listening into conversations with Phyllis Schafly, but my point still stands—-Mrs. Obama should quit her job and get off the campaign trail and take care of her two daughters—anything less is just partisan posturing.

    Comment by qcexaminer | September 5, 2008

  18. Oracle,

Palin’s personal life and her decisions as a professional woman are her and her spouses business. It is not my business to tell her what to do or not do.

No more is it my business to tell Barack Obama to run or not run (you know he has young daughters),

No more than it was my business to tell Nancy Pelosi when she started her political career.

Come on, are you really so affraid of Palin that you want to go down this path? How utterly transparent!

Comment by tiger woods | September 5, 2008

  19. That’s right, I forgot—Pelosi has five children—why isn’t she home taking care of them and her grandchildren instead of making a fool of herself as Speaker of the House?

    Comment by qcexaminer | September 5, 2008

  20. Oracle,

You feel as though Palin should be at home with her baby and holding the hand of her 17-year old (what are you thinking) – so I am certain that you would agree that Biden is the biggest horses ass on the planet as he was sworn into the Senate from the hospital room of his son, who was recovering from the automobile accident THAT KILLED HIS WIFE (AND THE BOYS MOTHER)!

The man went off to the Senate, as his two young sons recovered from injuries AND the death of their mother.

Will you have the stones to be intellectually honest and consistent and agree that this action is 100-times worse than anything that you (foolishly) accuse Palin of?

Comment by tiger woods | September 5, 2008

  21. You two need to reread what I wrote. But I accomplished what I set out to do. Expose you and Mrs. QCE as intellectually dishonest right wing schills. You both took out of context what I wrote to fit your attacks. I knew Tiger would do that. He always does. He is as deluded and dishonest as anyone I have encountered. I was hoping Madam QCE wouldn’t take the plunge into Tiger’s world of mispeak and mislead.

Comment by the obamacle | September 5, 2008

  22. Oracle, are you going to communicate the ‘lie’ or are you just going to keep whining about a made up issue, like Obama?

I absolutely love a solid, reasonable, factual debate/ discussion. However, this Oracle character is an absolute embarrassment to himself – and any site that he comments on. I certainly appreciate that many people have foolish opinions, but this joker says nothing of any consequence or reason. Does anyone know this guy – if he is mentsally unstable or taking drugs?

    Comment by Robbie | September 5, 2008

  24. Robbie, what are you taling about?

You asked me to communicate to you how and why Clinton governed by polls. I suggested that you need to Google this information yourself, because that reality is a given, even in liberal circles (in my understanding). The issue was not germain to the discussion taking place and I chose not to go down a silly path. You stated that you just were not overly familiar with the Clinton Administration and were just looking for information (which is why I suggested Google).

Is there something else that you are talking about – or are you just full of crap, again?

Comment by tiger woods | September 5, 2008

  25. Hey, Robbie, why don’t you actually try to say something useful and go down a post or two to ‘Quote of the Day’ and see if you can think of something to say that might actually make sense…

  26. [...] Quad City Examiner’s blog talked about the Joe Biden comment where he stated that an Obama/Biden presidency would be looking to hold Bush/Cheney responsible for any Iraq War activities that they deemed illegal. It was an overt sermon aimed at the Bush Deranged hoping to titillate and work the individuals into a mad-dog foaming lather so they will pass along their rabies to others. Also at both the Democrat and Republican conventions we, the voters, got to witness the various high-ranking party members from each party turn on fire and brimstone talk to their respective congregations. The speakers set out to fire up their constituency by producing highly animated vocalizations condemning those (many of them openly claimed as friends and compatriots in the same bellowing vitriol) in the other political parties. The political rhetoric that both sides expel towards each other has gotten to the point that when Politicians speak about the other side, it sounds more like a script or promotion piece for the WWE Professional Wrestling Corp. than an actual discussion. 27. O, you’ve just exposed yourself as an ignorant partisan hack, because if anything, I am a BIPARTISAN shill.

Type “Obama” into the search box here read my early SPEAKS. You will see I was a mooney, swooney Obama Girl until about March when the Wright stuff came out. The way Obama handled this, his first negative press coverage, started me on the road to Obama-skepticism.

First Barry tried to spin his way out by saying he wasn’t in church that day, then that Wright was just a sort of nutty uncle, then in a “thrill up the leg of the entire media establishment” speech about how he could no disown Wright any more than he could his racist granny who raised him or his “community”—-until Obama DID disown Wright when Wright told the inconvenient truth that Obama was just another conventional politician who would say anything to win.

For me, it was all downhill after that.

But hey, don’t take my word for it—take a look at my bipartisan shilling for yourself.

Personally, I’m beginning to think I’m some sort of political groupie who will probably need some serious detox after November 4. :-D

And when I first visited you fine blog I was dismayed that nobody bothered posting replies to the ridiculous right wing opinions of the notorious Tiger. Your Modus operandi took awhile to catch on to. You’re a female Lou Dobbs. Tiger is just pathetic wannabe with delusions of granduer that someday he can dance with Ann Coulter. You want to rant on everyone that’s great. Jump on McCain for lying that his running mate SOLD her predecessors airplane on Ebay and made a profit. You know the TRUTH is she listed it, it didn’t sell, a broker sold the damn plane for a loss. For all his talk of being a maverick, McCain is the same old Republican. Just like Tiger, McCain won’t let the TRUTH stand in the way of a good anecdote.

  29. Oracle,

I understand why you are such a coward to never take me on in a real discussion on anything meaningful. You have this tremendous misconception that you are clever or something, but it seems quite obvious to all (but you) that you are quite dim and shamefully unwilling/ unable to dialogue in a thoughtful and reasonable manner.

Please, I beg you, pick a subject, ANY subject of significance and lets go at it.

    “““““““““““““““

Did Palin embellish the airplane story – likely. However, when you have Obama that,

Lied about being a law professor,
Lies about his association with Ayers,
    Lied about Wright,
    Lies about the Rezco ‘deal’,

…this is the best you can do – an embellished story?

And, in reality, she listed the plane on eBay and it liekly sold at a profit from what it was on the books for. Did she stretch the truth – sure, but in comparrison to Obama’s lies on significant and meaningful issues, I just don’t see this as being a big deal.

(And I certainly hope that the liberals make a big deal out of it, as it will only open the door for a good look into Obama’s lies – maybe that was the plan all along!)

Comment by tiger woods | September 6, 2008

  30. This is the sort of smear and distortion we can expect from the left/liberal/Democrats/press from now on in.

Palin said she PUT the plane on ebay, not that she SOLD it on ebay.

Some hopped-up leftwinger took that bit of information and ran off the cliff with it—just Wile E. Coyote!

PS: O, I have no idea what you mean when you compare me to Lou Dobbs, but I’m sure you mean it as an insult. I’ve heard of him, but have never seen him. All I know about him is that he’s supposed to be some sort of anti-immigration nativist.

My main problem with you is that at some point I began taking you seriously instead of treating you like the buffoon you are—which was my initial (and correct) reaction.

    Won’t get fooled again.

UPDATE: I just remembered that I did see Dobbs once on 60 Minutes and blogged about it here.

    Comment by qcexaminer | September 6, 2008

  31. McCain lied and said the plane was sold on Ebay several times now. Please stop misquoting me Tiger. And please come up with your own lines. And look at Annenbergs factcheck.org while you’re deciding which one of my catch phrases you want to plagiarize next.

Comment by the obamacle | September 6, 2008

  33. 1. I have seen Dobbs a couple of times, and he seems like a great bulldog for reform in DC. I have not seen him since Palin wasannounced, but he has got to be thrilled.

    2. Oracle, qce is right. You are a baffoon. I do not know if you are a liar or not, likely just really stupid. I do know that you are a tremendous coward, ducking any discussion based on facts and seriousness.

I know that you try to hide behind the buffoon act, but most any clear-thinking reader knows that it is no act.

    Comment by jacopataya | September 12, 2008

  35. WOW the Nobamacle is an idiot too. Michael Savage said it best. Nobama has a woman issue that probably runs deep of him knowing as an abortion been readily as easy to get as they are today his own mom would have aborted him. Who know’s sounds like he came from that background that would have happened. So he hates women and it’s showing. Also you all know his wife wears the pants, and that’s all we need is her country hating ass basically running things….

    Comment by jacopataya | September 12, 2008

  36. My bet is that Obama Dumps Biden Saturday, Sept. 20.

Most of the Sunday political analysis shows are already “in the can,” and the sunday papers are done. That gives Obama the time to control the “Spin.” He’ll probably say it is doing the will of the people.

Obama is willing to throw liabilities “under the bus.” Ask Tony Rezko and Jeremiah Wright.

Biden’s remarks about Hillary’s qualifications for VP were a calculated trial baloon.

    Comment by Jimmy | September 13, 2008

  37. Jimmy, you read my mind!

Over the last several weeks, I’ve been getting lots of search engine enquiries about “will Obama dump Biden” etc. because of this post.

I also noticed the “will Obama dump Biden” thing is now on Intrade.com, which is interesting because nobody is betting McCain will dump Palin! :-D

Personally, I don’t think Obama will do it—picking Biden as VP was the first “executive decision” Obama made, and I think he is too arrogant to admit he made a mistake—-but picking a gaffe-o-matic buffoon like Biden really can’t be seen as anything other than a mistake.

But ya gotta wonder—did Obama even vet Biden?
