Rip Van Winkle could not sleep throw those tirades. Not that it matters, the one thing about bigots like Wright is that it only takes a few minutes of talking with them before their bigotry spews out. It was Obama who proclaimed Wright was so close to him that he considered him a mentor. He knew very well who and what Wright was. He was just ignoring the racist issue to strengthen the roots of his political base.
I think this will be a major problem for Obama, except for those who hurl “racist” at everyone who doesn’t agree with Obama. Most of middle/moderate America finds Wright’s rantings abhorrent—how Obama will square the circle will be interesting.
I thank the gods that the race card has been played out—not that race-baiters won’t keep playing it, like the insane who do the same thing over and over, expecting a different outcome.

QCE,
I am in the process of reading a book written by two men from the Quad-Cities. It is a wonderful, common sense book about politics, policy and economics.
I would suggest that it is most definately worth your time to read – and possibly communicate to your readers –
