Proof That Inbreeding Causes Retardation
Earlier I blogged about how Pat Verschoore and Denny Jacobs had funded Jerry Lack’s campaign against Mike Boland, and that it was a shame Boland didn’t return the favor by funding a candidate to run against free-rider Verschoore.
Today it came out that Boland gave $11,636.00 to Mike Jacobs’ rival Paul Rumler.
This is hardball politics in an area where one political party rules absolutely. Since the Democrats have no one else to fight with they fight each other—-check out the dysfunction in Springfield and DC Congress for further proof.
Mike Jacobs screamed like a little girl when it became known that Boland had helped finance Rumler’s campaign.
Here’s the money quote from Mike Jacobs:
“Mike Boland is supposed to be a Democrat, and he has the right to give to my opponent. But for him to say because my father gave to his opponent’s campaign he’s justified to give one-seventh of all his campaign funds to my opponent is a stretch. I feel sorry for Mr. Boland—almost.
I don’t even know how to process this idiocy.
Will Mike tell us what percentage is acceptable for one Democrat to give a challenger? Mike says 1/7th is an outrage—what percentage is the official Democrat rate? Is there a secret list of Democrats who are allowed challengers and those who are exempt? Are family members allowed to finance opposition candidates, but not the candidates themselves? Is there some sort of Democrat shadow authority that is the “decider” of all these pressing questions?
Isn’t this proof that the talent pool is shrinking due to inherent inbreeding, cronyism and nepotism among local Democrats and has finally reached the point that juvenile antics, unhinged dementia and flat-out retardation is now considered the norm?
These people work for us, we don’t work for them. Our tax money is being spent to prop up the players in this theatre of the absurd, and it’s time it stopped.
Could we please have some new blood infused in this hemophilliac bunch? GOP? Green? Godzilla? Brain of Hitler? Britney Spears?
Politics in RICO, and sadly in most of the country, is all about THEM, not about us.
Will we ever rid ourselves of these spoiled babies?
I hate to sound like a broken record, but when the RICO general public are such sheep, totally unable to think for themselves, what are we to expect?
Lane Evans 24-years must be considered Exhibit ‘A’ - the man did absolutely nothing for the people - other than get Aunt Mary’s Social Security check 2-weeks early - yet they think the man is a saint.

The only thing this proves is Boland is stupider than anyone ever imagined. I suppose you’ll be “crying like a little girl” when Jacobs returns the favor. Unlike Boland, Jacobs rasises tons of dough and when he unleashes 1/7 of his war chest aginst Boland it will make a difference.
What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
For the record, Boland faces reelection in two years while Jacobs isn’t upuntil 2012.
What was Boland thinking?
I didn’t realize that Rumler was a page for Boland. I wonder why Paul never mentioned the fact?
Eddie Haskel would have never allowed himself to get caught up in this type of campaign scandal.

You say that you do not hate Jacobs but for you to blame Jacobs for 1 Boland money. 2 the dispatch writing a story. 3 Jacobs acnowledging that Bolsnd has the right to give to any Democrat that he wants. Do you expect Jacobs to be happy Boland gave his opponent $12,000. I am sure that the paper called Jacobs and asked him for a comment. Go back and look at Bolands election night words and you will see that Boland is the problem. Go back and look at the few bills that Boland passed and you will see that Jacobs passed many of them.
You don’t want to talk about things but you keep bringing Jacobs into your stories.
I know why.
He sells your blog and that is the truth.
You are blind a Q C. Quit writing about him if you can not defend yourself with wild accusations.
Comment by Peter | February 9, 2008
sheep herder, maybe you can help me out here.
I absolutely agree with you that what’s good for the goose is sauce for the gander, which is why I don’t understand Jacobs’ hissy fit over Boland giving 12 grand to Rumler. Jacobs’ dad and Verschoore were basically the only financial backers Lack had, so why is Mike so upset? Jacobs’ dad helped finance Boland’s opponent and Boland help finance Jacobs’opponent—-it seems fair and reasonable to me. Since I’m not a political insider, I may be missing something here, so please clue me in.
Also, I don’t get Mike’s attitude period. He won—why can’t he be gracious instead of being a sore winner? I just don’t think this reflects well on him.

Peter, when you said “(Jacobs) sells your blog” I just realized how dense I had been. I had never thought to use Mike Jacobs as a marketing tool!
That’s absolutely brilliant, Peter!

Amen, Brother Josh!
I doubt I have much impact on the local political scene, but this blog has been wonderful therapy for me!

Examiner,
FYI — Mike Jacobs and Denny Jacobs are different people.
If Mike Boland’s dad contributes $1,200 to Mike Jacobs’ opponent “the truce” brokered by Madigan would remain in force. Simply put, Madigan brokered the “agreement” between Mike Boland and Mike Jacobs, not Boland’s dad or Jacobs’ dad. I don’t care how much Mike Boland and his dad look alike, act alike, or sound alike, Mike Boland’s father is not party to the stated agreement.
Examiner, are you and your father the same person, or are you distinct and separate people? Please advise.
I can’t wait to hear this one!

Well TMary, Bill and Hillary Clinton are two different people too, but I’d say if Hillary and Obama worked out a “truce” where they promised they wouldn’t steal each others consultants (or whatever) but Bill managed to lure one of Obama’s consultants (or whatevers) away to join Hillary’s campaign, I wouldn’t say “hey, it’s no big deal, Bill and Hillary are two different people”, I’d say:
1. It’s just typical down and dirty corrupt politics as usual, and
2. That Hillary might be following the letter of the law but certainly not the spirit.
So while your “Mike and Denny are two different people” argument is amusing, it’s really not very impressive or compelling.
Also, I’m thinking Obama and his supporters wouldn’t be impressed by the “Bill and Hillary are two different people” argument, either.
Gaming the system, parsing and manipulation that politicians use when they say stuff like “it depends what the meaning of is, is”, and “Mike and Denny are two different people” is one of the many reasons people loathe, despise and distrust politicians.
Thanks for adding to that good feeling, TMary.

qc now you realize it. Great. Jacobs sells That is why you can not stop talking about him.
But could you point out the hussy fit. I missed it. Jacobs stated that he understood Boland giving the money. The paper called Jacobs.
You should try and answer the questions above.
How about Rumler sending his goons to Jacobs victory party. Jacobs hasn’t or didn’t mention It. I mention it because I think you should think before you talk. Maybe you could look under this rock Ms. examiner.
At least you would be speaking the truth instead of you fabricated venom.
Comment by Peter | February 9, 2008
No one can argue Boland and Rumler’s attempt to skate around Illinois Campaign Disclosure Laws was “corrupt politics as usual,” but you go to far claiming Mike Boland and his dad are the same person.
All one has to do is look at Bill Clinton and Hillary Rohdam and see they are not the same person. In the simplist form, Bill has a tail and Hillary doesn’t. While they may ty to help each other, Bill cannot morally, ethically or socially obligate Hillary to an agreement she is not part of.
Gaming the system, parsing and manipulation strike at the center of what Boland and Rumler conspired to do Jacobs. Thankfully an alert reporter tipped off the State Board and the unsuspecting public now knows what (Boland and Rumler) tried to do — pass campaign cash without voters knowing where the money was coming from.
In my opinion, decite leads to public and political corruption. The public has right to know who is taking what from who before election day arrives.
Comment by sheep herder | February 9, 2008
I can’t help but to agree with Peter.
The paper calls Jacobs up and asks him to respond to the new fact that Boland gave Rumler $12,000 the day of the election and Jacobs responds.
The quote is:
“Mike Boland is supposed to be a Democrat, and he has the right to give to my opponent. But for him to say because my father gave to his opponent’s campaign he’s justified to give one-seventh of all his campaign funds to my opponent is a stretch. I feel sorry for Mr. Boland—almost.
I will make it easy for you since you seem to have trouble answering Peters question.
1. Is the whining the fact that Jacobs says that Boland has the right to give the money?
2. Is the whining that Jacobs father gave Lack $1,000 after Lane Evans Jacobs old friend asked Denny Jacobs to give?
3. Is the whining that Jacobs doesn’t feel that it is justified to give $12,000 to Rumler on elections eve when Boland doesn’t even pay his democratic tab?
4. is the whining that Jacobs pity’s Mike Boland as a vengeful old man?
The fact of the matter is that you and Mike Boland have hatful hearts and they will bring you down in the end.
You will be a happier and brighter people when you let go of your anger.
5. I also would like to know if you think that it is whining to send a squad of thugs as Peter calls them down to haras Senator Jacobs at Jacobs victory celebration?
Comment by John | February 9, 2008
To the Jacobites:
We have a failure to communicate here—-I have absolutely no idea what any of you are talking about.
I said Boland and his dad are the same person?
Denny Jacobs is Lane Evans’ puppet and will do ANYTHING Evans says?
Goons and thugs?
All this may be important to Politburo insiders, but to an outsider like me, this is what I really want to know:
1. The reporter who tipped off Jacobs about the 12 grand) was obviously going for a “gotcha” moment and Jacobs fell for it. Rather than dish out petty one liners like “I feel sorry for Mr. Boland—almost” and the incoherent 1/7th business (which I still don’t understand) why didn’t Jacobs take the high road and congratulate Boland on his win, since after all JACOBS WON TOO? Wouldn’t that have been the gracious and MATURE thing for Jacobs to do?
2. I have no idea what this “truce” or brokered agreement between Jacobs and Boland is about, so I don’t know if it has been violated or not, but if it has been, WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES?
On the other hand, Boland doesn’t come off well in all this either since it appears he was following the letter of the Campaign Finance law, but probably not the spirit. But if what he did was wrong, then it is up to the legislature to CHANGE the freakin’ law.
Anyone who has been reading this blog for any length of time will know I am not a Boland fan either, but there was no way I was going to vote for an empty suit like Lack, whose only claim to fame, like Phil Hare, is that he was Lane Evans employee for decades.
You would also know that I mostly like Mike Jacobs, I just didn’t vote for him.
John is right about one thing though—-I do have a “hatful heart”, with most of my hat being directed at the local political class.
Mike Jacobs and Mike Boland work for ME, and when they engage in the type of idiocy we have been speaking of here, I’m thinking that these two are wasting my tax dollars. I would much rather spend my tax dollars supporting people who want to work for MY interests rather than fighting this idiotic and juvenile street fight that has evidently been going for decades now.
Throw the bums out! All of ‘em! We need new people in office who aren’t invested in keeping these old hatreds alive.
Enough!

Ms. Examiner, are you saying that you do not feel sorry for Boland for trying to hack another college that has supported his efforts in Springfield. Mike Jacobs has passed several of Bolands bills and passed them through the Senate.
If a reporter came to you and told you that one of your co-workers went behind your back and tried to take your job and have you fired that you would say great right at that time and place. I want to congratulate them.
I do not believe you and for you to say that Jacobs had a hissy fit is wrong and you should at least take a look at the situation and say that Jacobs could have been more positive or something of that nature, but you call his comment a hissy fit.
I think that you should look deep inside yourself and agree that it should at least be downgraded from hissy fit to not the most gracious way of handling that ones co-workers tried to do a hatchet job on them.
You know that this is right and you will feel better about yourself.
Thanks in advance for your efforts.

Sorry John, but the only way I will feel better about myself is when all these bozos are kicked to the curb.
Comment by qcexaminer | February 10, 2008
Are you talking about the bumbling Humbug that hides behind the curtain..
You need to come out of the closet. Why don’t you stand on your own two feet. Why will you not address the fact that it should at least be downgraded from hissy fit to not the most gracious way of handling that ones co-workers tried to do a hatchet job on them.
It ois not so hard and you know that you over reacted to the situation and ran your own hissy fit.
Actually your hissy fit much worse that the one that you should downgrade to not the most gracious way of handling that ones co-workers tried to do a hatchet job on them.
I have confidence that you will see the error of your way and agree that you are wrong on both of these issues.
Respectfully John

John, if my choice of words upset you, or you are bothered by the fact that I say negative things about Democrat politicians and blog anonymously, I suggest you stop coming around here, because I ain’t gonna change.
Comment by qcexaminer | February 11, 2008
What really bothers me is the fact that you won’t admit when it is as plain as the fact that you are the bumbling humbug that you had more of a hissy fit about Jacobs way of handling that ones co-workers tried to do a hatchet job on him than Jacobs had in his comment about the way that Boland tried to do a hatchet job on him.
All you have to do is admit it and you will feel much better.
I can see that you are ready by the way that you keep avoiding the facts and using straw man arguments.
You and I know you see that you overreacted and that you will do the right thing in the end even if it is only in your thoughts, but you seem like a bigger girl than that and I have faith in the fact that you will do the right thing.
Maybe you need to sit down with you clergy and try and get a hold of your anger and turn vinegar into honey.
Do the right thing and admit the error of your ways.
You will continue to be in my thoughts and preyers.

I am also prayin for Examiner, but yours is not a faith crises but depression. Millions of Americans suffer from depression without knowing they have the power to pop a pill and block the negative waves. After reading your angry blog stories Examiner, it is clear you suffer from the “BLUES”.
Examiner, you must understand that the world doesn’t evolve around you. Paul ramler doesn’t care anything about you, nor does Mike Boland. In fact, neither man would know your name if you walked into the room. But that is okay. You don’t need approval from third-rate politicians to validate your life.
Prozac and/or Lexapro will t help you realize that you don’t have to live life in a blog shelter. Embrace life, embrace reality. Venture beyond your computer and into the world. Make a friend. Go get coffee. Find someone to share your thoughts with other than imaginary blog friends. Try talking to your spouse. I am sure he use to be okay. Wasn’t he?
If all else fails get a dog. Just don’t expect some loser that lost two races in a row to fulfill your dreams. This is “transference” not reality. Embrace reality, take your pill and pray your heart is open to change.
God Bless you and keep you until the day of your death.
If drugs are not your thing, then you might consider aroma therapy. others are singing the praises of changing your colors from a winter to a spring. If nothing else, turn on an extra light. It is a well know fact that during the winter the short days can cause some to grow depressed. Whatever you determine to do, grow!
