Looks like they are trying to have their cake and eat it to. Of course it defeats the principle of going on strike for better wages and benefits when you are exploiting the homeless and poor to make your point. But then that is what Unions have done as long as I can remember. What once started out as a fight the system organization has become another version of the same system they purport to fight.

While some unions have a great deal of influence over the political nomination process in the 17th you completely overstated their influence nationally. Implicating all uniions due to one union’s activities is not logical.
