Hands Across the Water, Heads Across the Sky

Two weeks ago, I was ready to take The Anchoress vow of chastity and avoid reading about or blogging or commenting about The Endless Campaign.

But then that Elizabeth Edwards hatin’ on her poor Republican neighbor thing happened, and I knew I could not avoid the powerful temptations that can drive political/news junkies to ruin, and I blogged about it anyway.

Mea culpa.

So now that my little crises of conscience is over, I can share the name of one of my favorite political information dealers. That would be BlogNetNews. This site aggregates blogs from all over Iowa. Here you will be able to read first-hand experiences and accounts from people who attend the myriad political events that national media don’t or can’t.

My fellow Illinoisians, the Iowegians are our friends, our neighbors, our employers, our relatives and lovers—–trust them to give you the political minutia that I know you junkies crave.
